Morlyne Corporation

Why does Morlyne make quotations based on 1000 pcs paper sticks? Can you quote us based on one ton of sticks?

Like the paper stick manufacturers in Japan, Europe, and the United States, Morlyne only use a thousand sticks as the quotation unit, allowing lollipop and cotton swab manufacturers to accurately calculate and control costs of finished products. Some paper stick manufacturers prefer to use weight as a quotation unit, the cost per stick will fluctuate due to the following reasons: moisture content increase and weight change of each paper stick.

What is the minimum order quantity for paper sticks?

Generally, we do not have a minimum order quantity, and we can suggest the starting quantity according to your needs. The higher the quantity, the lower the production cost and the lower the corresponding selling price.

Can you provide some printed paper sticks samples according to our design? What kind of print file format do we need to provide?

Printed paper stick samples can be done according to the customer's design, but the proofing fee will be charged, and the proofing period is 10-15 working days. The accepted file format includes PSD, AI, CDR, and TIF.

Do you use imported paper? Will you frequently adjust the selling price of paper stick due to the cost increase in raw materials?

The raw materials we use are sourced by our headquarters in Australia. With centralized purchasing, we can place a big order with our suppliers. We always sign an annual contract with paper manufacturers to ensure the stability of the supply chain and price. We understand that lollipop and cotton swad producers always sign a long term contract with supermarkets, we will not adjust the sales price frequently, which will give our customers an advantage over their competitors.

As a food company, how can we evaluate the supply chain risk and avoid serious food safety accidents caused by unqualified paper sticks?

It is recommended to review the documents following the food safety management standards and conduct on-site inspections. The following matters should be considered when evaluating:
Some manufacturers can provide SGS test reports. It should be pointed out that the testing institution only tests the samples provided by the paper stick manufacturer, and the test results do not represent the actual quality of the products you purchased.
If the supplier has passed HACCP, ISO22000 or FSSC22000, BRC certification, the supply chain risk is controllable.
